Chamré, pronounced as SHAAM-ray, originates from the Urdu word چمڑے, which means 'leather'. The inspiration for the name stems from the high-quality craftsmanship found in Pakistan for leather shoes, which has been under the radar for quite a long time amid the large number of counterfeit leather products currently being sold in the market. We aim to change that and strive to put Pakistan’s luxury hand-made shoes on the map.
